Widely regarded as the greatest automotive museum on Earth, the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed will host an amazing 30,000 square-foot display packed with dozens of Wheel Hub feature cars within its new 90,000 square-foot expansion. Join us on Saturday, May 23rd for an experience you’ll never forget.

New for 2026, this year’s event marks the introduction of the Wheel Hub Cup, a truly unique award competition featuring an unrivaled total cash purse of $100,000. Winner to be announced during Saturday afternoon’s awards ceremony.

Reliability Run and Cruise Night

Wanna hang with the big boys? Get to town a day early and rub fenders (figuratively, not literally!) with the same iconic hot rods you’ve drooled over in the pages of Wheel Hub! Join us for our reliability run on Friday, May 22th for an incredible day of cruising through the best hot rod destinations in Nebraska.

Wheel Hub Live is back and open to the public. We encourage everyone to drive your hot rods out to the Speedway Motors Museum to enjoy the outdoor car show running alongside the festivities indoors. The show opens at 8:00 am and runs until 1:00 pm. Parking space fills up fast so get there early!

While you’re there, take a tour of the museum and enjoy the most iconic race cars, show cars, and historically significant automotive artifacts around ranging from the Isky Roadster, the Starbird collection, early Indy cars, the very first Ridler winner, record-setting streamliners, nostalgia Funnycars, and countless experiemental open-wheel race engines all housed within the museum’s sprawling 240,000 square-foot facility.
